Hi there!
Maples are outdoor trees so they should be kept outside! They thrive in full Sun but special care need to be taken for the warmest hours of the hot mediterranean climate!

I was also afraid of this, so today I moved it inside before leaving for the office (although today is not a summy day...).

Should I just leave the tree outside nomatter what, and chose a spot in the shade?

Also, what should I do with the yellow leaves? Chop them off one by one or leave them there? I have the tendency to leave them there...

Any particular place in the internet (or elsewhere) I can read about maple bonsais and how to properly take care of them?

I live in Athens.

Guys HELP!

I am a Bonsai newbie - got my first tree on Sunday. She is a plane tree and she is absolutely gorgeous!!!

Since the past 2 days there are yellow leaves developing FAST at the top part of the tree...

I have read carefully watering instructions and I think I am not over or under watering the tree. I am applying water slowly and in 2 stages, once a day in the morning.

I have left the tree outside for 2 days at different places with diferent exposures to the sun.

I am desperate as I don't know what is wrong... Is it stress, is it inappropriate watering, is the sun too much?

What should I do?
