It is a special tree !
Not only because it's loaded with memories from your friend's father but, what I see is an almost perfect formal upright tree!

I would like to show you the evolution of my Taxus.

The tree I got from my friend Ralf in January 2009. This comes from his father who unfortunately died, so
I consider this tree very honorably.

In the discussions before with Ralf's father and me, he told me how he the tree
want to make in the future.

After his death, it was clearly installed for me, that I desired his style
would lead further and try the implement.

A picture like I got the tree in 2009.

My goal was to get with good fertilizer to the tree more growth.
What I also succeeded, took just a few months

2010 was the repeated and by cutting back I got a
great bud formation. Iron rod was removed .. the crown remained in your position.

Here you see now the tree in May 2011 .....
the pads are tight ........ and the tree is not in the wire and is making great strides my desired design.

In brief, I will bring here a few branches in the form.

Then I reworked the tree ...... into shape ..... and one or the other
changed.

Even with the contrast of the strain and the Deadwood affects the tree now hugely popular.

In March this year the tree gets a new pot.

I hope when Ralf's father looks down from heaven, which he is proud to see his tree so.

For me it will always be a special tree.
